Ruby first appeared on our screens in 2018 as a contestant on Channel 4’s hugely popular series The Great British Bake Off. Having only been baking for a year before appearing on the show, Ruby made it to the final and took the show by storm with her natural talent for baking and cooking as well as her wit, humour and style.

She has since gone on to appear on ITV’s This Morning as well as being part of the flagship team of chefs on Channel 4’s hit daytime show Steph’s Packed Lunch. She has written food columns and recipes for GQ online, The Times and Waitrose Magazine whilst also being a regular contributor to the online channel ‘Tastemade’. In 2023 she launched her hugely popular weekly newsletter, The Last Bite.

Ruby’s recipe flair and technique pay homage to her Indian roots whilst adding a twist of modern British cuisine. Ruby is passionate about flavours and recipes from her heritage and around the world and loves how something as simple as food can bring cultures and communities together. Ruby is delighted to announce that her debut cookbook, One Bake Two Ways, will be published by Pavilion in 2024.

Alongside her growing broadcasting career, Ruby has amassed a strong social media following and regularly works with high-profile brands, developing bespoke recipes and creating content for them. These include HexClad, Nespresso, Manchester Utd, Häagen-Dazs, EE, Thermomix and Macallan whiskey to name but a few. She has also appeared at a number of events hosting stages and leading live demos including The Big Feastival, BBC Good Food, Pub in the Park and Soho House.
