She may only be 5ft 2, but A Little Sound is causing a lot of noise right now – and for all the right reasons.
A self-taught musician with a background in musical theatre, she got her start performing acoustic covers at the age of 11 on her YouTube channel. However it was once she moved to Bristol and connected with D&B label Born On Road that she found her calling.
She first caught the attention of the D&B community after an epic ‘Stay At Home Festival’ live stream where she surprised everyone with her mixing and impromptu vocals, and her love for the genre has since blossomed since then.
Despite being in her early twenties, A Little Sound has vocalled some of the biggest D&B anthems of recent years with the likes of Kanine, Technimatic, Gray and Friction.
With her relentless work ethic, the last two years have seen her tour across the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, including stand out festival performances at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Creamfields, Rampage, and many, many more.
In 2022 she was voted Best Vocalist at the Drum and Bass Awards, before going to the next level in 2023 by taking home a 2023 BBC Radio 1 Future Star Award, collaborating with Hedex and Rudimental, and signing to iconic dance label Ministry Of Sound. The year ended with her single ‘Back To Back (B2B)’ spending 8 weeks on the BBC Radio 1 playlist.
2024 has seen her collaborate with Disrupta and announce a global touring schedule including a hectic summer festival run taking her to Glastonbury, Radio 1 Big Weekend, Reading & Leeds and Tomorrowland among many others.
Expect A Little Sound to only get louder from here!
