Great news! The TikTok sensation and everyone’s favourite popstar Jason Derulo will be gracing our screens in 2023.

Jason Derulo is here with a brand new TV talent search. In Project Icon, eight aspiring recording artists will compete to see if they have got what it takes to transform from a bedroom singer into an all-round music star in just a few weeks.

Hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Jordan North and featuring mentors including Becky Hill and Jason’s manager, Frank Harris, the show is looking for the next full package artist. Inspired by Jason’s own online work, Project Icon has selected contestants that all already have a social following.

They’ll be put to the test in a series of high-stake challenges to test how prepared they are for the music industry. The winner will take away a coveted US music deal with Jason’s label Future History, a collaboration with Jason Derulo and a live performance at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in 2023.
